Once our technician arrived for the scheduled appointment, he performed an 18-point inspection to diagnose the problem and to make sure there were no other factors involved in the malfunction. After our team member had determined the exact cause of the problem, he set to work replacing two springs that were malfunctioning and broken.
After the repairs had been made, the door was tested to ensure that it was opening and closing properly. The technician also talked to the customer a bit about garage door safety, and he performed a safety reversal test to check that the door’s built-in safety mechanisms were working properly.
