Riley arrived a couple minutes after 0800. He quickly diagnosed the problem and checked out the drive motor, didn't take much to convince me to upgrade the system. He went to work immediately and was efficient. It took just over four hours to replace the rollers, Springs, opener assembly and testing. He earned and deserves 5 stars. BD

My garage door broke on thanksgiving eve. Black Friday morning I started calling around hoping someone was open. I was grateful that not only was A Plus open the could fit me in. Would have rather spent $875 on Christmas but a 1997 craftsman was probably due to die. Ben was fast and thorough and glad to have a new system I don’t have to worry about.My only wish was a shorter arrival window. Had to cancel any plans so I could be home 1-6p.

Had a problem with my door opener which I bought from Martin Doors in 2007. Anthony did a great job of diagnosing the problem (a missing tab from the belt) and yesterday Derik Garcia and Daniel came out and installed the tab (which was hard to find for an old garage door). Derik and Daniel did a great job and very happy to say it works well again! Price was very good and the service was excellent. Highly recommend them.

While I think A Plus' pricing is a bit on the high end, I do believe you are getting great service with very knowledgeable technicians that are willing to answer questions. This shop is so near to mine at Rare Breed Plumbing. It is incredibly hard nowadays to find a contractor that you trust. That will show up when they say they are going to and can do the job correctly. A Plus will definitely be my go-to company from now on. Everyone I worked with over there was unique. If I could leave a 10 star rating I definitely would. We had a emergency with our garage door today and they were able to fit us in and get the problem fixed and explained some other issues that would need to be addressed. We asked if they could fix those at the same time and Kyle said no problem and explained everything that needed to be done and was finished and cleaned up in a little over an hour. I will definitely use them in the future for any garage door issues I have.

I called A+ because they had good reviews, and was not disappointed. Our garage door is 12 years old and needed at least a lube job. John-Luke came out right on time and did the initial inspection. He very carefully and kindly explained about the needed repairs due to the age of the door. We ended up getting new springs, rollers, cables, drums, and a few other things for a very good price(he pointed out a coupon that we could use) and did the work in about 90 minutes. Could not be happier with the results, as well as the peace of mind that the parts will keep our door working for many years to come.

Set up a maintenance appt. Technician arrived before my scheduled time frame, but that was fine by me. He did phone prior and ask me if that would be okay. Tech( I believe his name was Jordan, not sure) explained what was happening with the garage door and what was needed. Didn't pressure sale anything. He completed the repairs in a timely manner. I have used another garage repair company (AAA garage doors) and it appears that tech was not thorough or knowledgeable as the A plus tech.11/11/2024 maintenance service appointment.As you can see from my previous review I was content with service, so I had them come out for a maintenance service, two technicians showed up even though I was told one technician was coming, anyway Technician completed the maintenance service and we replaced a garage remote and reprogrammed the garage key pad. When I got the bill I was shocked $209.00. The remote garage opener alone was $85.00, reprogramming key pad $59.00. The lube and tune was the least shocking amount $65.00.Which to me seems like the most important part. I am a returning customer this is the 3rd time I’ve used this company and may be the last. Please note that I am a senior citizen who still has to work. So this pricing shocks me. Thanks

I have had a problem with my garage door closing for months and had done everything I could think of to fix it. I called A Plus Garage Doors, they sent Kasey and Tyrell the next morning and they diagnosed the problem within minutes, fixed the problem with a simple adjustment, inspected the door and found some developing problems and corrected them, and lubricated everything. Door works perfectly now. Responsible, respectful, and amazing.A while back one of my springs broke. A technician came out and replaced them and all of the rollers and some other hardware. However, one or the springs was the wrong size and my garage wasn't fully balanced.The weaker spring brought out how old my motor was (17 years old!). It started going out, which would have happened regardless soon with or without the spring issue.I raised my concerns and I was contacted by A Plus soon after. My issues were remedied as soon as they possible. They did everything they possibly could to ensure that my garage door was working exactly as it should.I now have a fancy new opener that I love, and a nice quiet working garage door.Overall, the fact that I had an issue and it was handled so professionally was a great sign.Hopefully I don't have any other garage door issues in the near future. But if I do, I know who to call.

Joel was great, he determined the problems with the door and had to replace the door opener, replaced the springs with the right ones, lubed the door etc. He was very knowledgeable and very efficient. He did a great job. We really appreciate him and recommend him for everyone. We will use this company again.Today we had Craig come out to determine why the wall switch wouldn’t open the garage door. He was very thorough and determined that the wall switch had been damaged by construction workers. He replaced the wall switch and serviced both garage doors. He determined that the rollers were wearing so he replaced all of the rollers on both doors and adjusted the tracks. We are very happy with the work that Craig Kelsch did for us and are also happy to be informed by Craig that A Plus has a branch in the SLC area. We recommend this company for garage door maintenance and repairs.

If everyone at A Plus is this helpful and nice, I see no reason why anyone should ever call another company.Had a single broken spring, and he gave me clear quotes on the various levels of repair and Inspected parts that may or may not need to be replaced and let me make the decision on replacing them or not.Pricing was better than I was expecting based on the quote from another company who had previously installed the door.He answered about 2x as many dumb questions as I was even expecting to ask and helped with a separate small minor repair that was causing a lot of noise on the garage door.Seriously recommend. Danny & Josue fixed our garage door problems yesterday. They found the sensors had quit working, thus not allowing the double garage door to close. They replaced them & reconnected some in-line wiring splices that had been done poorly. The door was still banging the ground very hard when closing. They explained the problems with the springs that open & close the door & replaced both the single & double door springs with the correct sizes. They now are so QUIET when they close, amazing. Their expertise when analyzing my problems was greatly appreciated.

Hello, all, just want to share how very pleased my wife and I are (the Sims) with the technicians rundown of options, we had to fix our broken garage door. The break occurred a month ago during the bad wind and rain storms that hit the Orem Utah area. Our garage door was being closed when the wind forcefully pushing against the door broke the center support piece attached to the wall. Our technician, Grover Allred, came when called and reviewed the situation with us very carefully and professionally. We chose the option that gave us upgraded new parts because our garage door best we could figure was around 30 to 34 years of age. The door itself had no cracks and looked good , but we could see that new parts and upgrade would be a wise decision along with fixing what broke. We were extremely pleased with the fast efficient and always willing to answer a questions work that Grover performed. Thank you, Grover and thank you A+ for being such a great company.

He found that not only was the motor at the end of its life, but the cable, rollers, and weather stripping were all needing replacement. Wow!!! How to even start explaining how awesome Tyler and Sam were. They had a cancelation, so they were able to come a day early to look at my broken door spring. They were able to quickly and efficiently assess the issue and provide several options from repairing the spring to replacing the whole door. I asked about the door replacement cost since the door is almost 20 years old as well and showing signs of age. I ended up having them do a refresh on the door. Basically, they replaced the moving parts but not the door itself. It was a great option to save on cost but provide the best outcome. They had everything fixed in no time and were very pleasant to work with. I would have them back in a heartbeat.

Our spring broke at 8:30 at night. We called and were able to reach someone in person. They scheduled us for the next day and Kyle Norman arrived at 8 the next day. He gave us notice 30 minutes prior to his arrival and was right on time. He gave us a detailed run down of what he could do to help and walked us through our options. He replaced the springs and the wheels. Our garage has never opened so smooth and quiet. Finally he got the mobile app for our garage opener working. It had been offline for 500 days and he patiently went through the steps multiple times and got it working again! Kyle was an absolute rock star. I highly recommend their services.

We had a weekend evening emergency repair. A few things that were surprising in a good way: someone answered the phone when we called, after 6:00 pm on a Saturday, and, with a emergency fee, could have someone assist us in getting our door repaired that same evening. Rich was great to work with- he provided 4 different repair options and gave us time to deliberate privately as a family about which option we would choose. He never questioned our decision or made us feel guilty about the option we chose. He was consistently active working on the repair and willing to explain what he was doing. Despite the late hour, Rich was happy and appeared to be in good spirits. The garage door is working much better than it has in years. My experience was very positive. As a recent widow I was stressed about both the broken door and dealing with handling it all. When I called in and was given a same day appointment I was delighted. Orion was my technician and was kind and efficient. He explained everything carefully and was pleasant and smiling. He put me at ease in what had been a very hard time for me.I did have to replace the door as it was too old to obtain parts. But the cost was much less than I expected. Orion did a temp repair on it so it was usable until the new one arrives and I was not charged for his time or labor. Zach and Kent repaired my double garage door. I called them after discovering that the spring had snapped. They were at my house within two hours. Approximately three hours later, I had a fully functioning garage door that was working better than ever. Luke was awesome. He came over and diagnosed the problem right away and explained in detail what went wrong with my garage door and what needed to be fixed. He also went above and beyond that to point out other things on the door that I might want to replace soon so that those parts didn’t fail in the near future. He showed me exactly why it was wearing out and where it was. He then showed me a few costs sheets that he had put together with the best equipment to the lowest ones and the prices associated with each. He was great and so very knowledgeable about everything he was doing. When I call them again for any maintenance needs in the future, I’ll be requesting to have Luke do the job.

I just replaced my garage door with A Plus for cosmetic reasons and I’m so glad I did! From start to finish it was a great, smooth process. Grant was knowledgeable and patient with me as we explored different door options and price points. Once we confirmed the order Wendy communicated the timeline of the order and helped to schedule the install and then when it was finally installed Cameron and Mitchel knocked it out of the park. Today on Memorial Day my garage door literally falls apart and breaks. I call A+ because they have good word of mouth in my neighborhood. They are at my house within 2 hours of calling….on a Holiday! Luke is my technician and he spends at least 30 minutes explaining to me what all my options are from complete replacement to minor repairs and the detailed cost of everything involved. He could not have helped any better! He was kind, patient and thorough. Ultimately we need to replace the whole door, and I believe I’m in the best hands possible. Called A Plus this morning for an emergency repair. They had someone here this afternoon who repaired the damaged parts we knew about but also found a number of other items that we needed to have taken care of. The tech took the time to show us the parts that were failing/near the end of useful life. He did not pressure us into an upsell but clearly walked us through the parts that he felt we should consider replacing. Responsive, professional and FAST! Contacted A Plus mid-day. In less than 30 minutes a tech was at my house, diagnosed the problem (broken springs), and provided an estimate. We have had our garage door for 3 years now installed by A+. We have had many comments and praise about how nice it is. lately the door has been squeaky when opening even after I tried lubricating it. Luke came out and did a great Job pointing out things we needed to keep an eye on. The bottom seal had dragged swore out in one side so we ordered a new seal. Luke was able to quiet the door down. Having the whisper quiet drive it is better not too hear the squeaks an squeal. We love our door and it needed to feel the love. We are happy with this company and recommend them for any garage door work or replacement you may be considering. Ialmost forgot to mention thewoman who answered my call. She was very pleasant and helpful and even offered them current promotional price that I was unaware of. It is great to have quality service at every level. I filled the form out late at night and the next day I had someone reach out to me over text.
