So... my garage door opener died, with no other access option besides buying a ladder and breaking a window, I called in some pros. They were able to get through a window without breaking it, open the door from the inside and assess, and give me multiple options from minimal changes to get by, through full replacement, and handle the level of replacements I chose on the spot. Post repairs, they gave me a pretty thorough tutorial on the new system and answered all my questions. Kasey and Chase were pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and prompt. Mike was an excellent technician. My garage door spring was broken, but he also looked over the entire system for rust/wear and tear, and other issues. He explained what he found in a way I could understand. He was very thorough with all the options available to me, including just replacing the spring. I opted for a new system (mine was over 18 years old and had cracks and rust). He had all the pricing options available right then and was very transparent with all costs. I really appreciate the time he spent educating me on garage doors/motors/systems so I could make a good choice. At no time did I feel pressured to pay more or upgrade anything. He also "fixed" the spring temporarily so we can use our garage door while we wait for our new system/door to be installed. I really appreciate his honesty, and I will continue to use A Plus Garage in the future!

Super quick and easy from start to finish. Scheduling online was very simple, and within 10 minutes of the appointment, Tony called to let us know he was on his way. Tony did an inspection of the entire system and gave us options of what needed to be replaced and what he would recommend. I did not feel that I was being sold anything at any point. My 35 year old garage door mechanisms finally gave out. It was on a cold December Friday and I couldn’t shut the door. A storm was expected later that night. Thanks for the timely rescue. Sawyer came out accessed the incomplete work of another company and the problem was solved. He and the Kelch team from A+ were very understanding of my predicament. I had resigned myself to not being able to get a door that would match our other garage door. I specifically asked for bids from several companies and all were out of my budget. In September the high bidder called me back and explained that the manufacturer had made it possible to charge us significantly less and his bid was in our budget for the door we wanted. We accepted his bid and were excited for the installation of the door in mid December. Door arrived and when Dave the tech came to install from the other company, he had no help and was unable to install the door because he said we had inadequate head room by his accessment and that he didn't know how he could install the door because we had changed the head room. He came the next week with a helper and spent time installing the door to the best of his ability and told me he was done with his job and demanded payment for the incomplete install since we had, by his estimation, changed the instalation site. We expressed to him in September that we would be building a loft area for storage and asked about head room then. I understood that the 5 inches would be adequate since this was what was required for our other door. The other company castigated me for not building in enough head room for the door. The other guys wanted me to spend more money to get another door or modify the door we ordered. So, I called A+ and they solved the problem of the head room and installed the door the same day. Great team with integrity and knowledge. Thanks for your help going above and beyond to fix someone else's incompetence and my lack of being able to communicate to the other company in a way that worked. The other company is a new company with a small team and I think they have poorly trained an incompetent Staff. If you want to avoid the mess I got myself in, work with A+. Funny thing is, had gotten a bid from them before starting but it was out of my budget also but less than the incompetent company. The Kelches are good, honest people that will solve your problems and complete what they say they will do. I have added some pictures to show we're the other company left and said they had completed their work and the completed door by A+ a few days later.

Figured I'd find someone small and local. Went to Marketplace at 10:00PM, all the big boys are there and they look like they're small and local. AI bots reply and have you call. Dispatch sets everything up. In my case, that was the next morning between 8:00-1:00. Figured I'd get a free estimate.Got a text the next morning asking if 8:00AM was okay. My cable had come off the pulley. Connor showed up right at 8:00. The repair quote was reasonable but I felt I could probably save maybe $50-$75 with someone else. It was completely worth it to give him the green light.Got to thinking that my opener is approaching 20 years old. Asked about replacement. Connor had options on his truck. Negotiated a generous discount on the repair and chose a 1/2 HP. Got to thinking about it then upgraded to a 1.25 HP for an additional $200. Interest-free financing, 12 months same as cash.Connor was absolutely fantastic. I probably paid more than I needed to but the time and effort to shop for what I got was worth it. Convenience and service isn't free.The marketplace has become incredibly competitive and ultra sophisticated. Garage doors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC... I don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. My opener can be had for $700-ish. My bill was just under $1200. $250/hour for Connor. YouTube University showed me how to fix it myself but I know enough to know I don't know much about fixing or installing garage door stuff.

What fantastic and friendly service from “A+ Garage Doors!” When the sheet metal in our 16’x8’ garage door began failing with several 2” structural cracks in the lower two panels due to fatigue we reached out to “A+ Garage Doors” for solutions after seeing a promotional ad. A quick cosmetic solution was available to add two struts, but this would have only been a temporary band aid and added weight to the door. We were provided with multiple options during the 9:30 AM on-site visit, selected a solution and scheduled replacement for three days hence. Within 30 minutes we were advised a crew could come and install it on the same day. By 4:30 PM a professional and courteous two-man crew arrived and completed installing the new insulated door within two hours.

This is my second 5 star review for A+! I came home from church this morning to a broken spring issue on my garage door (I didn't know the issue before calling). I called A+ and within 2 hours John-Luke was at my door. He assessed and identified the problem and presented me with my options for repair. What I appreciated was that once he presented me the options, there was no pressure to "choose" which option. One cost more than the other, but no pressure to choose the more expensive option. John-Luke expertly diagnosed the problem, presented the options, and repaired the problem with knowledge and experience. I would recommend A+ over and over again!I needed help with my garage door the same day. My remote had been stolen. Called A Plus because of a previous experience I had with them in 2020. I was out of town and had to coordinate everything over the phone. They responded quickly and installed a new garage door opener putting my mind at ease thousands of miles away. This time was no different. Even as busy as they are right now when I called and explained the situation they immediately put me on the appointment calendar for 6-8PM and let me know it could be sooner if a time became available. Riley showed up at 11:50AM. He examined everything and let me know the garage door opener was in great condition. I wanted an additional remote and eventhough he didn't have an extra one with him, he made that extra effort to get one. He lubed the rails and didn't try to sell anything to me. Upfront and honest. A Plus will be the only company I call for future needs and I will highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of assistance.

Can’t say enough good things about Sawyer. He was timely, efficient, friendly and thorough. The spring on our garage door snapped in the cold spell, and our garage door is too heavy (200+ pounds) to lift without the use of the opener, so our car was stuck inside. Sawyer came first thing in the morning, cheerful and kind, and got us up and running in no time. During his thorough inspection of our system, he pointed out a few other items that could lead to problems down the road (cracked rollers, worn bearings), and fixed those as well. I’ve stayed with them for both homes I’ve owned in Wasatch valley although the garage doors were installed by other companies. They get me in their schedule quick and are always on time. A-1 Garage Door personnel were very kind and responsive. I called to report my broken garage door spring yesterday and I was offered the option for a technician to visit and evaluate the door that same day . Unfortunately that didn’t work for my schedule , but I was offered first thing in the morning today . As promised Danny, the technician, phoned about 30 minutes before arriving and was here promptly when he said he would be. He was kind and respectful.The door was thoroughly inspected. My service provider, Nolan, was great! He called about 25-30 minutes before he arrived, and got there exactly on time and during the scheduled time slot. Luckily it was a simple repair, but within a minute of looking at my garage door, he found the problem. We called A+ when our garage door broke and they were able to send someone within just a few hours. We learned that the spring had broken, but luckily Richard had all the parts on his truck and was able to do the repair same day. And he didn’t just repair spring, he did a full inspection on our whole system and determined that our motor had gone out as well. He went over a bunch of options with us, never pressuring us, and got it up and functioning within a few hours.He even did some price adjustments so that the cost wasn’t too overwhelming at the time.Richard was super knowledgeable and a nice guy to work with, we will definitely use them for future projects and recommend them for service.

Jordy and Tyson did a fantastic job installing our new garage door! Tyson even went a step beyond and cut off some extra siding that was scrapping on the door. Rich was great when he came out to give us a bid - and he even threw in a gap filler on the bottom of the garage door to help with the holes. There were a couple things not as they should be so they said they’ll be coming back out to replace them. And the decorative hardware wasn’t in stock so they’ll come back out and do that as well. Overall very happy with our experience!

I called A Plus Garage doors because they had excellent reviews online and people seemed to be generally really happy with the work they did. They showed up the same day o contacted them, gave me a slot in the afternoon and showed up early even.The technician John-Luke Burches showed up, was really knowledgeable and gave us a variety of choices to choose from $250 up to $3000 for total replacement of the entire system. Everything from repairing the old motor, to replacing it, and servicing the garage door , to installing an insulated door. We opted for a new motor and rail and service to our garage door.I thought we would have to get on the schedule and have them come back but he got to work right the. And installed everything in 2.5 hours. He greased and maintenance the old door and it runs like new. Everything is so quiet now. It’s amazing. We honestly couldn’t be happier. I don’t know what you’re paying John-Luke but it’s not enough. He did an amazing job.

We have had issue with our garage door not being closed all the way for a while and I am hesitant to call for help due to the bad experience with another company last time. Before the winter hits, I finally decided to try again and found very helpful Google reviews with A Plus Garage Doors. Thank you those who left positive and detailed reviews as I was not only to get it on schedule today but also have our problem fixed. 👍Norman, our technician, arrived earlier and carefully and quickly made his diagnosis and recommendations. We have him fixed the immediate issue and got educated what we should do to maintain or repair in the future with our aged door system. Because Norman is also specialized in motor-gate, he made diagnosis on our broken gate and I am hoping that problem will be taken care of soon. I will make sure to update my experience on later.Overall, this has been one of the best repair experiences I have had. Norman is not only professional but also polite and pleasant to talk to, who shows characters of good work ethics, and family responsibilities. We had new doors and openers installed about a year ago and recently had some concerns about the weather stripping on the bottom of one door. (The company will callAnd or to set up appointments and will send a tech with in a very reasonable amount of time.) Patrick, the technician was very professional and courteous and was very clear about the proposed solution to the problem. After fixing the weather stripping m, he encouraged me that if the solution did not work, to call and they would come out again and resolve the issue to our satisfaction.Their customer service cannot be beat!

My garage door spring broke and even tore the metal on my door. I called A+ Garage Doors and they got me in the very next day! Gage helped me out and was awesome to work with. They even worked around my schedule since I had an appointment I couldn’t miss, which I really appreciated. I’d seen their great reviews before calling, and now I totally get why. Their customer service is honestly off the charts.

We just had a new garage door installed with a new motor. Our technician, Nick Larsen, and his partner were so professional and helpful. They explained how it worked, how to maintain it and how to use it. He was extremely knowledgeable and very patient and polite. Dillin Youler, from A+ Garage Doors, recently came back out to replace my doors and did an excellent job. Dillin and his partner were very professional and the installation was smooth and done with attention and detail. He was very informative with the new doors and explained everything that would be different from the last doors. They were both courteous, efficient, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. I really appreciated the quality of their work and would highly recommend them to anyone needing garage door service. Very impressed with his professionalism. Give that kid a raise!
