Joel was great, he determined the problems with the door and had to replace the door opener, replaced the springs with the right ones, lubed the door etc. He was very knowledgeable and very efficient. He did a great job. We really appreciate him and recommend him for everyone. We will use this company again.Today we had Craig come out to determine why the wall switch wouldn’t open the garage door. He was very thorough and determined that the wall switch had been damaged by construction workers. He replaced the wall switch and serviced both garage doors. He determined that the rollers were wearing so he replaced all of the rollers on both doors and adjusted the tracks. We are very happy with the work that Craig Kelsch did for us and are also happy to be informed by Craig that A Plus has a branch in the SLC area. We recommend this company for garage door maintenance and repairs.

This morning tried to open the garage door, it would only go up a couple of inches. Tried a few more times, no luck and car now a prisoner in the garage. Looked in the Best of Southern Utah awards catalog for a garage door repair company, A+ appeared. Called, explained my problem, and within 2 hours two of the most professional, efficient, personable technicians showed up. They assessed situation, gave me options as to what work was needed and what I wanted done. They did a complete overhaul of the garage door (22. years old), including new spring, cables, rollers,etc. All for a fair price and within a short time span - plus a 5-year warranty for parts and labor. I would highly recommend this company to anyone requiring service on their garage doors. Their name says it all.

Great experience start to finish, from making appointment to repairs being completed. Single existing tortion spring broke, resulting in damage to opener and hardware on door. Rich, the tech who came out was great. Walked me through the damage and then spent the time as was repairing to explain what was doing. Lol, physics were discussed.

Stormin' Norman is a goddamn stud. If everyone at A Plus is this helpful and nice, I see no reason why anyone should ever call another company.Had a single broken spring, and he gave me clear quotes on the various levels of repair and Inspected parts that may or may not need to be replaced and let me make the decision on replacing them or not.Pricing was better than I was expecting based on the quote from another company who had previously installed the door.He answered about 2x as many dumb questions as I was even expecting to ask and helped with a separate small minor repair that was causing a lot of noise on the garage door.Seriously recommend. Danny & Josue fixed our garage door problems yesterday. They found the sensors had quit working, thus not allowing the double garage door to close. They replaced them & reconnected some in-line wiring splices that had been done poorly. The door was still banging the ground very hard when closing. They explained the problems with the springs that open & close the door & replaced both the single & double door springs with the correct sizes. They now are so QUIET when they close, amazing. Their expertise when analyzing my problems was greatly appreciated.

Hello, all, just want to share how very pleased my wife and I are (the Sims) with the technicians rundown of options, we had to fix our broken garage door. The break occurred a month ago during the bad wind and rain storms that hit the Orem Utah area. Our garage door was being closed when the wind forcefully pushing against the door broke the center support piece attached to the wall. Our technician, Grover Allred, came when called and reviewed the situation with us very carefully and professionally. We chose the option that gave us upgraded new parts because our garage door best we could figure was around 30 to 34 years of age. The door itself had no cracks and looked good , but we could see that new parts and upgrade would be a wise decision along with fixing what broke. We were extremely pleased with the fast efficient and always willing to answer a questions work that Grover performed. Thank you, Grover and thank you A+ for being such a great company.

Ben was excellent! He arrived early in the appointment window and immediately began inspecting our old opener. He found that not only was the motor at the end of its life, but the cable, rollers, and weather stripping were all needing replacement. Wow!!! How to even start explaining how awesome Tyler and Sam were. They had a cancelation, so they were able to come a day early to look at my broken door spring. They were able to quickly and efficiently assess the issue and provide several options from repairing the spring to replacing the whole door. I asked about the door replacement cost since the door is almost 20 years old as well and showing signs of age. I ended up having them do a refresh on the door. Basically, they replaced the moving parts but not the door itself. It was a great option to save on cost but provide the best outcome. They had everything fixed in no time and were very pleasant to work with. I would have them back in a heartbeat.

Great experience with A Plus! We had a garage door break apart on Friday afternoon. I called in and they could have had it fixed on Saturday for a little extra. I waited and now it's Monday at lunch time and everything is fixed. Richard Ford was awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. He was very good at explaining everything, gave me options and didn’t pressure me to be upsold which I really appreciated. Our spring broke at 8:30 at night. We called and were able to reach someone in person. They scheduled us for the next day and Kyle Norman arrived at 8 the next day. He gave us notice 30 minutes prior to his arrival and was right on time. He gave us a detailed run down of what he could do to help and walked us through our options. He replaced the springs and the wheels. Our garage has never opened so smooth and quiet. Finally he got the mobile app for our garage opener working. It had been offline for 500 days and he patiently went through the steps multiple times and got it working again! Kyle was an absolute rock star. I highly recommend their services.

A plus was fantastic to work with. When our garage door broke, it was an emergency for us personally. The wire cables on our door kept coming undone, seizing the garage doors ability to function. Rich did a fantastic job assessing the issue, explaining to me (a real novice in the space) what was causing the issue, and offering multiple solutions in varying price ranges. Wow! They were able to find a time the next day but was not good for my schedule. We had a weekend evening emergency repair. A few things that were surprising in a good way: someone answered the phone when we called, after 6:00 pm on a Saturday, and, with a emergency fee, could have someone assist us in getting our door repaired that same evening. Rich was great to work with- he provided 4 different repair options and gave us time to deliberate privately as a family about which option we would choose. He never questioned our decision or made us feel guilty about the option we chose. He was consistently active working on the repair and willing to explain what he was doing. Despite the late hour, Rich was happy and appeared to be in good spirits. The garage door is working much better than it has in years. We are quite thankful to Rich and others that were involved to assist us in getting our garage repaired so quickly and expertly.

Sam was very informative and helpful and explained what the problem was and how to fix it. After replacing the motor (because it was done), and tightening the overhead spring the door moves much smoother and easier than with the previous motor (which was 10 years old). He informed me that when I added the insulation it was adding strain to the previous motor, and tightened the springs help minimize it. I would highly recommend their service.

My experience was very positive. As a recent widow I was stressed about both the broken door and dealing with handling it all. When I called in and was given a same day appointment I was delighted. Orion was my technician and was kind and efficient. He explained everything carefully and was pleasant and smiling. He put me at ease in what had been a very hard time for me.I did have to replace the door as it was too old to obtain parts. But the cost was much less than I expected. Orion did a temp repair on it so it was usable until the new one arrives and I was not charged for his time or labor. When I called in that morning, I was given a service window of 1-6pm and they came a little after 1pm (after calling ahead as a courtesy), so I was already happy with the prompt service. This is a 3 year overdue review...however we had trouble with our then 8 year old garage door not opening/closing properly & eventually it broke. We called A Plus Garage Door Repair they came, evaluated & quoted us and also suggested other upgraded options. That wasn't feasible at the time but decided to go with just the 'torque master conversion' parts/service & it has been working normally since then.The techs did great work on repairing the garage for us to use again. He also went above and beyond that to point out other things on the door that I might want to replace soon so that those parts didn’t fail in the near future. He then showed me a few costs sheets that he had put together with the best equipment to the lowest ones and the prices associated with each. I just replaced my garage door with A Plus for cosmetic reasons and I’m so glad I did! From start to finish it was a great, smooth process. Grant was knowledgeable and patient with me as we explored different door options and price points. Once we confirmed the order Wendy communicated the timeline of the order and helped to schedule the install and then when it was finally installed Cameron and Mitchel knocked it out of the park. Today on Memorial Day my garage door literally falls apart and breaks. I call A+ because they have good word of mouth in my neighborhood. They are at my house within 2 hours of calling….on a Holiday! Luke is my technician and he spends at least 30 minutes explaining to me what all my options are from complete replacement to minor repairs and the detailed cost of everything involved. He could not have helped any better! He was kind, patient and thorough. Ultimately we need to replace the whole door, and I believe I’m in the best hands possible. Highly recommend this company if you need a repair on your garage door.

The garage door was off the track and the opener was shot. Kohrman helped us get the van out before we committed to any work. When we were ready, Kohrman came back and replaced the springs and motor, and repaired the track. He was professional and worked quickly. The results are amazing! I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently my garage was repaired and refurbished. Sawyer literally showed up the same day I called and finished the job in under 3 hours. I was stunned however that I had to have as much replaced and the related price of the job….but the opener, springs, rollers, and all accessories were very old, so it is what it is. It is now all very new and works perfectly. This is a great business to work with in terms of efficiency and their friendly personalities. Sawyer was very professional and explained what my options were. I highly recommend them.6 months later, and again I called A+ in the evening hours, they took my late call with an actual person yet again. My new garage stopped working.my garage door sensors were misaligned, and my door needed lubricated. They scheduled someone the next day. Jordan arrived, accessed the problem and fixed it. I can’t say enough about how great it is to do business with this company. They know how frustrating it is to have your car trapped in the garage, or worse yet to have your garage open all night and vulnerable to thieves.Great customer service!!

Called A Plus this morning for an emergency repair. They had someone here this afternoon who repaired the damaged parts we knew about but also found a number of other items that we needed to have taken care of. The tech took the time to show us the parts that were failing/near the end of useful life. He did not pressure us into an upsell but clearly walked us through the parts that he felt we should consider replacing. They did a same day service, showed up on time, had a fully stocked truck and the pricing was in line for the service we received. We will certainly use them again and highly recommend them.

Went to open my garage first thing in the morning, did not work, then I noticed the spring was broken. I have used A-plus in the past called and had service within two hours. Orion was great, went over service options with prices and respected my decision, no hard sell. The best part is what we call "Lagniappe", a Cajun-French word I picked up from living in New Orleans. It means a little extra, something you did not expect. My garage door is original to the house, about 30 years, and it has seen some wear like top panel cross bars separating from the door. Orion on his own initiative and concern for his customer screwed some of the cross bars to the top panel so now the door works better than ever. Thanks Orion, you did a great job!

Responsive, professional and FAST! Contacted A Plus mid-day. In less than 30 minutes a tech was at my house, diagnosed the problem (broken springs), and provided an estimate. Then, he replaced the entire tension system in about an hour and a half. My garage door was working perfectly just two hours after calling A Plus.

We have had our garage door for 3 years now installed by A+. We have had many comments and praise about how nice it is. lately the door has been squeaky when opening even after I tried lubricating it. Luke came out and did a great Job pointing out things we needed to keep an eye on. The bottom seal had dragged swore out in one side so we ordered a new seal. Luke was able to quiet the door down. Having the whisper quiet drive it is better not too hear the squeaks an squeal. We love our door and it needed to feel the love. We are happy with this company and recommend them for any garage door work or replacement you may be considering. Ialmost forgot to mention thewoman who answered my call. She was very pleasant and helpful and even offered them current promotional price that I was unaware of. It is great to have quality service at every level. I filled the form out late at night and the next day I had someone reach out to me over text.
